What is your dream job after college?
I would love to work in a data science or data analysis position at a tech company.
What has been your favorite part of the internship thus far?
I love that I have the chance to work on a department project with ITS faculty, as well as a cohort project that allows me to connect with other interns.
What skills are you hoping to gain by the end of the internship this August?
I am hoping to gain more data analysis skills. Specifically, I would like to learn about different visualization methods, as well as data manipulation techniques that I can utilize in analyzing big data.
What assumptions did you have coming into the internship program?
Coming into the internship program, I had the understanding that it is similar to other internship programs in that you are applying your skills to work on a project for the company. What drew me toward the ITS Internship was their focus on not only working, but also learning. I noticed that the internship offers many learning tools, which ended up being true.
What has been your favorite part about working from home?
My favorite part of working from home is that I am able to save time with no commute to and from the office, all I have to do is walk down the stairs! :)
