What has been your favorite part of the internship thus far?
My favorite part of the internship thus far has been meeting with my mentor, she has a lot of knowledge in my area of interest and I've been able to meet other people in the field through her.
What skills are you hoping to gain or build by the end of this internship in August?
I'm hoping to gain real-world experience in Human Resources, improve my organizational skills and make connections with people outside my field of study.
What assumptions did you have coming into the internship program?
I assumed that I would be one of the few non-technical people and that it would be difficult to find a project. However, the program stresses the importance of both technical/non-technical skill-sets and finds space for each on every team.
