What college are you attending, what year, and what is your major?
I'm a senior at the University of Michigan studying computer science!
What is your dream job after college?
I'd love to work on developing back-end web applications or desktop applications of some kind. I'm not super picky, and unlike most people, I don't really want to work for a startup or a mega-corporation like Google. I'd like something that provides me with job security, an engaging work environment, and a decent salary.
What has been your favorite part of the internship thus far?
Planning for the Cohort project and gaining work experience in an office setting.
What skills are you hoping to gain or build by the end of this internship in August?
Data analysis, project management, and potentially enterprise-level application deployment!
What assumptions did you have coming into the internship program?
That the cohort projects would be predetermined. Having the opportunity to pitch our own projects means we get valuable experience with project pitches in a more professional environment.
What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Might be a little boring, but vanilla!
